Luke Paffrath graduated Summit High School in 1997 before attending the Colorado Christian University in Denver. There, he played soccer and graduated with a business management degree.
“Then I went to Alaska for five years and worked as a fly fishing guide for Mission Lodge. Then I came home and got my real estate license,” he said.
Paffrath now lives in Breckenridge and works as a broker at Paffrath Thomas Real Estate, where he started in 2004. The company was started by his father Jeff Paffrath in 1979. The younger Paffrath said he was drawn to his current occupation because he grew up around it and always liked it. He also loves interacting with so many different people.
Paffrath is married to Josie (Myres) Paffrath, his high school sweetheart. The couple has been married for almost seven years, and have two boys together: Lowell, age 4, and Boden, 1.
In his free time, Paffrath “loves the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.” He also enjoys snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, selling real estate, and of course, spending time with his family.
Of his time at Summit High, Paffrath says he remembers his “great friends” and participating in athletics. He played soccer and basketball.
