The state is giving healthcare technology company TriZetto Group $4.9 million in tax credits over five years to create 553 new jobs at the $40 million corporate headquarters it’s building in Douglas County.
In the months since the state agreed to the incentives, TriZetto has increased its job-growth projection to 750 new positions, said Kathy Green, spokeswoman for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
“That’s one of the benefits of having a headquarters move,” Green said. “The growth is a little quicker and more immediate.”
TriZetto’s four-story, 186,000-square-foot building at Meridian will include 739 parking spaces and be enclosed primarily in glass. The project is expected to be completed next spring.
TriZetto now employs about 650 people in Greenwood Village.
In addition to the permanent jobs at TriZetto, the project is expected to create at least 500 construction jobs, Green said.
