The charity event pits teams against each other in a citywide scavenger hunt to answer clues and win a $10,000 cash prize—all to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Colorado.
Denver, Colo., May 11, 2012 – LIVE Urban Real Estate, a locally-owned boutique residential real estate brokerage, is proud to present the first annual Race to Your Next Place—a thrilling citywide scavenger hunt with up to 250 teams of two vying for a $10,000 CASH grand prize! The prize money can be used toward a down payment on a dream home, home remodel, or renovation – anything you want!
Registration for this charity event is now open and 100% of race registration fees – up to $25,000 – will be awarded to charity partnerHabitat for Humanity of Colorado. A family who has benefitted from the organization will be participating in post-race activities on Race day.
Registration is open at www.RaceNextPlace.com. The Race is on Saturday, May 19 and pre-race activities begin at 9:00 a.m. Participants will take off at 10:00 a.m. and the winner will be announced at 3:00 p.m. Registration will remain open until the maximum of 250 teams of two is reached. The registration is just $50 per person ($100 per team). All participants will receive a Race t-shirt, food, beverages, pre- and post-race entertainment, and tote bag with coupons and goodies.
Participants need not be runners – the event is based on strategy, not speed. The event is designed to be fun and eventful with challenge activities to test skills and wit, not fitness levels.
The timed event will send teams around the city to solve house- and neighborhood-related mysteries and puzzles, answer trivia questions and successfully complete surprise challenges across the Race landscape. Teams will strategize and navigate through open houses, Habitat for Humanity projects and other home-related locations of supporting sponsors.
