Denver, CO, June 02, 2012 –(PR.com)– A new real estate firm in the South Denver Metro Area exceeded its expectations in its first four months.
Within the first 60 days of opening its doors in downtown Parker, Rocky Mountain Real Estate Advisors had 11 top real estate producers on its staff.
Within the last 30 days, these agents doubled their previous average of $2 million a month in home sales. Since opening Jan. 29, the team has recorded $8.5 million in sales, said Courtney Howey, managing broker and owner.
Those figures were much better than Howey anticipated when she opened RMREA on Jan. 29.
She attributed some of the success to the agents’ communication skills with others in the business. But she also said the lack of inventory of homes on the market in the Denver metro area was a contributing factor.
“The timing was perfect. Timing was everything,” she said, adding that she now is looking at adding other offices in the metro area.
“We are looking for motivated and talented agents in diverse fields to facilitate this growth,” she said. “With Denver’s healthy real estate market, it’s important to have a firm comprised of highly educated and experienced agents.”
The agents already at RMREA have years of experience and have survived the downturn in the real estate market, Howey said.
The firm also operates a little differently than most real estate companies. Each agent focuses on his or her own specialty, such as energy efficiency, short sales, investments or bank-owned properties. This focus allows the brokers to be educated experts in each of their chosen areas, Howey said.
Leanne Osgood, the agent who specializes in green homes, said the firm’s Realtors also have a good work ethic.
“We’re people who like to work, and we advocate for buyers and sellers,” Osgood said. “We work hard to make sure everything is priced right and marketed correctly, and we’re technologically savvy.”
