Two Green Firms Merge to Form GreenSpot Real Estate

Denver – Two local green firms, GreenSpot and EcoMark Realty, recently merged to form GreenSpot Real Estate and are now located at 3330 Larimer St. in Denver. With its 12 licensed, Green-certified Realtors, GreenSpot (YourGreenSpot.com) becomes one of the largest green real estate firms in the metro area.

“With our merger, we are much more than a traditional real estate brokerage because we also offer construction and remodeling services, energy audits and updates,” explains Tracye Herrington, Managing Partner. “Managing Broker Lori Morris and her team bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Denver real estate market. They also have access to financial products to help people finance a green remodel.”

We worked with Tracye and her partner, Melissa Baldridge, on several projects before our merger so we knew we shared the same philosophy of having customers for life,” says Morris. “We now have a more comprehensive package of services and resources to offer to our customers.”

“In addition to services for selling and buying green homes, GreenSpot has a network of third-party Auditor Partners and Building Trade Partners, all with the purpose of making homes safer, healthier and more energy-efficient. “Our Auditor Partners will give you unbiased feedback on your home’s energy performance, independent of the Trade Partners who do the work,” Herrington explains.

“For most jobs, GreenSpot Trade Partners provide three bids for every recommended upgrade, saving you the time and hassle of getting those yourself,” she continues. “All Auditor Partners and most building Trade Partners are also certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) in “whole-house” diagnostics. That means they view your house as an entire system, understanding that their work can affect a home’s safety and efficiency. In many cases, there are inexpensive energy updates that can provide big savings to a homeowner.”

GreenSpot is an Accredited Member of the Better Business Bureau, an ENERGY-STAR Partner, a member of the Governor’s Energy Office and Melissa Baldridge is LEED-Accredited.

In addition to working with residential properties, GreenSpot does energy-efficiency retrofits for commercial building operators to help them lower costs. For more information, visit YourGreenSpot.com or call 303-745-1551.
