There’s been a high level of broker movement in Denver’s commercial real estate scene since the new year started, and it’s continuing.

Jones Lang LaSalle

(JLL) pulled two more brokers from the Denver Grubb Ellis Co.

office, marking it the third big commercial real estate firm to take high-level Grubb brokers in recent weeks.

Joe Heath and Don Misner, vice presidents, will specialize in landlord representation, concentrating on Denver’s west, northwest and northeast submarkets.

“Joe and Don represent a key component in our market-leading office leasing team in Denver,” Peter Schippits, senior vice president, said in a statement.

Heath has worked the Denver and Boulder markets for 17 years. Misner was named the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors “Young Broker of the Year” in 2008.

The pair brokered more than 1.2 million square feet worth of transactions in three years, according to JLL.

Both had been at Grubb since 2010.

In other recent broker moves:

– Cassidy Turley named Travis Young the managing director of transaction services, overseeing the region of Colorado, Texas and California. He will based in Denver’s Cassidy Turley Fuller office.

Young’s focus will be on strategic consulting services for clients.

“Travis’ industry recognition demonstrates his keen focus on delivering value and creative solutions,” Bret Bunnett, regional managing director, said in a statement.

Young came from Cushman Wakefield

, where he served as director of transaction consulting in the firm’s Dallas office. He brokered the largest deal in the 40-year history of Cushman’s Dallas office, according to the news release.

– SullivanHayes Brokerage named Brian Shorter as the firm’s managing director for its Colorado operations.
